| The first Pocket PC Summit was held at the Fairmont
Miramar Hotel overlooking the Pacific Coast in Santa Monica, California.
Remarkably, the event was a resounding success despite taking place
exactly one month after the September 11, 2001 tragedy. The three-day
conference and exposition took place October 10-12, 2001. |

| One week prior to the first Summit, Microsoft released
the Pocket PC 2002 operating system which is now one of the most
popular handheld operating systems in the world. The excitement
during the Summit was enthusiastic and memorable as the attendees
represented a who's who of the emrging wireless ndustry. Many companies
on the forefront of the handheld market, specifically the Pocket
PC platform, either attended, sponsored or exhibited during the
event. We'd like to thank the many companies and industry leaders
who participated in the historic first Pocket PC Summit. |
